What is this program all about and how can it help you? We’re glad you asked! InBalance is our unique surcharging and cash discount program that presents our clients with the opportunity to offset credit card processing fees. Simply put, it was created to help you virtually eliminate the cost of accepting credit cards!

Our clients that are already involved in the InBalance program are receiving benefits such as: reducing payment processing expenses, recurring customer base, revenue to bottom line, closing expense gaps that are typically accrued through processing. This surcharging program can provide options in all 50 states and we provide signage to all customers free of charge.

With this program there are no setup or rental fees and no hidden costs. While surcharges are not available in all 50 states, the option of offering cash discounts can still be beneficial to merchants. A cash discount works to provide customers who pay with alternatives forms of payments, like cash or gift cards, with a discount. Businesses do not use a cash discount or surcharge to make money, but are instead using them to offset processing costs. It’s important to note that the cash discount or surcharge can not exceed 4 percent.

International Bancard is 100 percent on board with helping our merchants stay two steps ahead, and that means we are helping them be extremely conscientious in the area of compliance. We make sure that all clients have the proper signage displayed to let customers know about what the charge looks like and educate our merchants so that they can in turn educate their employees.

Those participating in our program are also included in a quarterly email campaign that keeps them updated on compliance related issues. International Bancard is very proactive in making sure that all obligations are known and followed, which attributes to the success of InBalance.

This is not a program that is workable for everyone and our team is available to discuss whether or not InBalance is right for your business. There are many industries that are very successful with our surcharging/cash discount program, including convenience stores, restaurants, coffee shops, liquor stores, small boutique retail with an average ticket under $50, delivery services, auto mechanic/tow trucks and plumbers and other industrial trades.
