DETROIT, JUNE 12, 2018 – Industry-leading payment acceptance solutions provider, International Bancard, has named Steve Merkouris as the company’s new Sales Director. Merkouris has more than 20 years of sales management experience, including over 10 years in the merchant services industry.
Merkouris’ main responsibilities in the company will include overseeing, mentoring, and managing International Bancard’s inside and outside sales teams. He will also work to improve the sales process flow while simultaneously growing the company’s sales funnel and assisting the sales team in closing more deals in less time.

In addition to his day-to-day sales management role, Merkouris will be an essential member of International Bancard’s Revenue Team and the Executive Leadership Team. As a member of these teams, he will help the company surpass its sales goals and objectives, as well as creating new targets to expand International Bancard’s client base.

Prior to joining International Bancard, Merkouris held a number of sales director and management positions. He ran a call center of over 100 team members and was in charge of the operations for a number of different programs including credit repair, equipment leasing, and other financial programs.
