Payment processing company becomes Red Wings Official Credit Card Processor and receives official naming rights to Olympia Club during ribbon-cutting ceremony prior to Friday, November 14 game
DETROIT – The Detroit Red Wings and Olympia Entertainment have announced a multi-year partnership with International Bancard, a Michigan-based, nationally-recognized payment processing company.
International Bancard is now the Official Credit Card Processor for the Detroit Red Wings and many of Olympia Entertainment’s venues and partners. The agreement also gives International Bancard exclusive naming rights for all sporting and entertainment events hosted at the Olympia Club in Joe Louis Arena, the exclusive destination for season-ticket holders on game days and special events.
The International Bancard Olympia Club unveiling will be celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, Nov. 14 at 5:00 p.m., prior to the Red Wings game against the Chicago Blackhawks. Olympia Entertainment President and CEO Tom Wilson and International Bancard Chairman and CEO David Iafrate are expected to attend the unveiling.
“Our partnership with International Bancard allows Olympia Entertainment and the Red Wings to provide a great service to our customers and fans,” said Wilson. “Through this partnership, we’re now able to provide a safe and reliable way for our fans to purchase items at Red Wings games, concerts and events held across our venues.”
“It is a great honor to be partnering with such well-respected, role-model companies like Olympia Entertainment and the Detroit Red Wings,” said Iafrate. “Given the combined passions our companies have for Michigan and the City of Detroit, this partnership seemed like a natural fit. For the first time, fans have the ability to use their credit and debit cards throughout the entire arena, reliably and securely.”
The agreement also gives International Bancard exclusive rights to provide merchant services for the Alumni Room, Comerica Bank Legends Club, Manhattan Room and Joe Louis Arena Concessions and Merchandise, along with the Fox Theatre Suite Level and Concessions, Hockeytown Café and Leo’s Coney Island within Comerica Park.
